Tourism information on Manjuyod
Manjuyod is a 3rd class
municipality in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines established
in 1894. It has a total land area of 26,460 hectares with a coastline
stretching up to 16 km. According to the 2000 census, it has a population
of 37,863 people with 45.1% of them living in the coastal area.
The town was considered as one of the progressivet town in the province
of Negros Oriental, Philippines and rated as a 3rd class town of the
region. It has a huge number of 37, 863 people in 7, 438 household living
in the place recorded in the 2000 Census.
Established as Negros Oriental’s most modern sugar mill, also with an
oil mill for copra produced by the northern district.
The
municipality was divided into different political barangays which governed
