CITY OF SAN CARLOS It is first component and first class city. According to the August 1, 2007 census it has 129,809 population. The city total land area is 45,150.0000 hectares or 451.50 square kilometers. It is located in Tañon Strait . It has lots of tourist spots along the city these includes the Alisyawan Falls, Adoration Chapel, Century Old Balete, Choco Hills, Our Lady of Lourdes Sacred Grotto, La fortuna Lagoon, the beautiful sunset, rice terraces, the different beaches and resorts, caves, falls, adoration chapel, their pride is fine natural harbor that is being protected by the beautiful island of Refugio. It also comprises 18 barangay's. Like Tanjay they have products to be proud of and these are the following: San Carlos City's Otop which is the main ingredients is peanut, Nanay Banana chips that can be bought through can and in pack, fashion accessories made from recyled materials (fashionable), Peanut Toron, and lastly, home accessories made of pandan.
