Carol-an Lake and Valley
Homeland of an indigenous people ruled by its legendary chief Manyabog
whose death led to the infamous tribal suicide. First settlement of the now City
of Kabankalan.

Mag-aso Cave & Falls

Still pristine in its form, back dropped by the large mountain range,
Magaso Falls releases smoke like shower of mist as it cascades down the natural
pool with its turquoise green water.
Situated within the Balicaocao watershed, Mag-aso Cave invites spelunkers
for real adventure and rewarding challenge in cave exploration.
Explored by the Western Visayas Cavers Association in June 1997, the cave spans
436.54 meters long and 149.29 meters deep-identified to be one of the deepest
caves in the Philippines.

Udlom Cave
Brgy. Tampalon
Reachable after an hour walk through an almost an arid river bed in summertime,
Udlom Cave lies hidden amidst boulder whose high and wide opening lords over an
ever-flowing stream and where inner wall reveals varied rock formations, caused
by continuous droppings.

Other natural tourist spots include Magballo Cave, Fatima Cave, Tagukon River,
and Tampalon Cave. The city itself has interesting, landscaped areas including City Plaza,
Kabankalan Show Room, City Plaza Water Fountain.

inundation, Agustina tells of a mythical
lady who was enchanted by the black
bird and in whose name the poll was
attributed.
